The Feed & Seed Fair!

We had a great time celebrating 6 months in business this past Saturday, at the Feed & Seed Fair!

The day consisted of horse drawn cart rides, a food truck, raffles, a radio station, an antique tractor, vendors, and a spinning wheel of deals! We completed a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and handed out goodie bags for kids - it was a fun day "at the office"!

In the past 6 months, we have learned SO much - and there is still more for us to figure out and understand better. We aim to make improvements every day, and we hope our customers will continue to stick with us and spread the word about our feed store offerings. We are proud to be here in Berwick, providing goods for animals of all shapes and sizes. It is fun for us to meet new people and hear about what kind of pets, livestock, or home needs they may have. We are always on the hunt for new and interesting products - if there is something you'd like to see on our shelves, give us a holler!

That said, we recently added 2 new product lines to our inventory:

Tough1 Tack and Tarter Gates!

These two companies produce quality products that stand out. We have both english and western style reins, bridles, halters, pads and blankets, along with a new selection of grooming supplies from Tough1. Tarter brings a vast selection of gates, panels, round pens, stock tanks, fire pits, garden planters, chute systems, tractor implements, and more!

If your farm, homestead, ranch, or pets have a need - Call the Feed & Seed!

We're here to help - we know first hand just how many supplies and what kind of tools are necessary pets and livestock with our own herd of cattle and horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and numerous cats, dogs, and bunnies. Let us know how we can be of service to you and your furry or feathered friends.

We want to be sure to recognize our amazing team at the Feed & Seed - Dana, Ava, and Keith - this crew gets it done! We couldn't ask for a better team of hard workers, and we are so grateful they are with us. Every week, they lift, stack, and load hay, shavings, and grain bags while providing pleasant customer service. We sincerely appreciate their help with the fair and every day.

Our vendors for the day stuck it out in the cool weather - while it didn't rain on our parade, it sure was chilly for the first weekend in June! Emerald Valley was there to showcase Speedi-Beet, along with Poulin Grain, Kay's Crafty Corner, POC Dogs, and Triple C Stables! We also hosted Big Love One Community, for a Feed the Need food drive! We were happy to have them there to share their mission, and the $1.00 off per can or dry good is an ongoing deal we will honor. Any time you bring in a canned or dry good, you'll receive a dollar off you purchase at the Feed & Seed!

Little Lindi's Fun Foods came to us from Lebanon, ME with their new food truck! The hand-cut fries and frappes were a big hit, while the Weare Family, accompanied by wonderful helping hands, provided cart rides with their beautiful Percheron horses!

We had so much fun inviting the community to join us for part of their day to experience some agriculture-related activities. We look forward to hosting more events of this nature in the future!

On June 13th, 2023, we'll be hosting a Country Livin' Class: Essential Oils in the Garden! An evening event with refreshments, hosted by Donna Macaulay, Owner of Living Well My Way and consultant for Young Living Essential Oils! Come join us to learn and sample oils that are great for gardening! RSVP here.

Thank you for the tremendous effort and support for this past weekend - we feel very proud to be here. Special thanks to Berwick Community Media (BCM) as well, for filming - stay tuned for an upcoming video special from BCM!

Raffle winners will be announced on our Facebook page! Thank you all for joining us and making it a great day at the Feed & Seed!
